These portraits are sculpted in clay from photographs. To create a successful portrait I need at least three photos of a person's face with views from the front, in profile, and a 3/4 view, plus a photograph of the full figure. For pet pictures, photographs should show markings and overall shape and a few that show me something of the animal's personality.
